DEF Helps Diesel Engines Meet New EPA Regulations

In January 2010, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) introduced new emissions standards requiring medium- and heavy-duty vehicles to significantly reduce engine emissions.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a non-hazardous chemical solution containing urea and deionized water, and is used to break down dangerous NOx emissions into nitrogen and water.
